We delivered a Costco apple pie to Hannah Gyani, Representative Haley Stevens' Outreach Manager for the annual Mothers' Day
"Peace Wants a Piece of the Pie" Campaign. We had a great discussion asking for support of the Department of Peacebuilding legislation. We shared our belief that the benefits of this department would have a positive impact on our country and the whole world!

Congratulations to Kim Bergier for receiving the Purple Ribbon for Peace Award at the Pax Christi Conference on April 27th! We are so proud of Kim for her work running the "Michigan Stop the Nuclear Bombs Campaign"; and for organizing so many trips to Oak Ridge Tennessee to protest the continuing manufacturing of nuclear weapons. Thank you Kim!

Here is Lorelei in front of our Citizens for Peace table at the Shop for a Cause event at Swords Into Plowshares Peace Gallery on November 23rd.
She came right up to ask if she could help us set up!
We invited her to pick one of the angels.
She picked the three angels, one with a fallen halo!
It goes with her shirt depicting Snuggle Buddies: a bear, a bunny and a cat!
We have so much to learn from Lorelei!
Be kind & helpful and be buddies with everyone!!

Thanks Lorelei!
