Dear Supporters of Peace,
I want to let you know of the recent changes in the Citizens for Peace. Due to a serious health challenge, I have resigned as the President of the Citizens for Peace. Tada Gunter is the new President. She is full of ideas and very enthusiastic about continuing our mission. We have an active board committed to sharing our message of peace and nonviolence.  They have given me the title of President Emeritus. I am so grateful to our new President and Board! I am grateful to all of our members, speakers and attendees who have made the Citizens for Peace a success! I will continue to be involved in the efforts of this wonderful organization.
Thank you,
Colleen Mills, President Emeritus of the Citizens for Peace. (734-425-0079)
Our meetings are going to be on Zoom until we are safe.  All members will automatically receive a link

A SPECIAL THANK YOU!
This is the Season for Giving and Remembering. Kathryn Schmidt donated a very generous check in memory of her dear friend Joan Collins. Joan loved attending our movies at Madonna University. She became a member of the Citizens for Peace and was deeply passionate about peace and helping create a world that works for everyone. She leaves beautiful memories for her many friends and fellow peacemakers, who believe in equality for all. She will continue to live in our hearts. Thank you, Kathryn, for your kind gift in Joan’s honor.

THANK YOU TADA!!
Our president Tada Gunter made a generous donation to the Citizens for Peace! Thank you for all you are doing!

THANK YOU FOR THE DONATIONS TO THE CITIZENS FOR PEACE EDUCATION FUND!
The Citizens for Peace Education Fund was almost depleted after donating over $2900. worth of books to the Oak Park Public Library this year. Thanks to generous donations to the Education Fund from our members Bob Frank and Nancy Weiss, we are building the fund up again. Thank you, Bob Frank, and Nancy Weiss for your support to our efforts to have peace books for adults and children in eleven libraries. Thanks to generous donors like you, we have spent $12,575 on sharing our Peace Bibliography books to so many all over Michigan. We greatly appreciate your generosity!

Donations are appreciated to help continue our work for peace,
Donations to the Citizens for Peace Education Fund are tax deductible.
The work of the Citizens for Peace is dependent on the support of our members and friends of peace. Our annual dues are $25.00. Checks can be made out to the Citizens for Peace and mailed to our Treasurer, Rick Abdoo at 17423 Francavilla, Livonia, MI 48154

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
May this New Year bring everyone Peace, Love and Happiness!
